📱 Getting Started

What devices and browsers does it work on?

have.you works on any modern device - phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops - in all major browsers with no app download required.

have.you is a fully web-based game, which means it runs directly in your browser on any device. There's no app to download, no operating system restriction, and no plugin required.

We've tested and optimized the experience across:

  • Mobile phones - iPhone (Safari, Chrome) and Android (Chrome, Firefox, Samsung Internet)
  • Tablets - iPad, Android tablets, and Surface
  • Laptops and desktops - Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge on macOS and Windows

The UI is fully responsive and adapts to any screen size. On a big desktop monitor you get a rich card layout; on a phone it stacks cleanly for one-handed play.

Multiplayer rooms use WebSockets for real-time sync. Any modern browser from the last 3 years supports this. If you're on a very old device or browser and something looks off, try updating your browser - that usually resolves it.

We do not currently have a native iOS or Android app, but the web experience is optimized to feel native on mobile, and you can "Add to Home Screen" in Safari or Chrome to get an app-like icon on your device.
