5 Things That Make a Great Custom Pack

1
Mix intensities deliberately - Opening questions should feel easy to answer. Save the bold and deep questions for positions 8โ€“15 in your pack - by then the group is warmed up enough to handle them.
2
Name it something memorable - A pack called "Mia's 30th - Barcelona Edition" is more likely to get opened and replayed than "Custom Pack 4". A specific name also helps the link feel like an event.
3
Cap it at 15 for casual groups - Attention starts drifting around question 15 in casual settings. Save longer packs for dedicated game nights where people have committed time. A tight 10-question pack often lands better than a loose 25-question one.
4
Preview every question before adding - The Pack Builder lets you see the full question text before adding it. Use it - questions that read well in a list can feel flat out loud, or too similar to a question you already added.
5
Pair with a multiplayer room - Once you have built your pack, load it into a multiplayer room and share the link. Everyone answers simultaneously and reactions appear in real time. It turns a list of questions into a shared experience.

Occasion Inspiration

๐ŸŽ‚

Birthday party

Mix Funny + Embarrassing + Classic for the birthday person to answer about themselves. Everyone else votes on whether they believe the answer.

๐Ÿ’‘

Date night

Start with Funny, add Childhood, finish with Couples or Deep. Avoid bolding the vibe too fast - the best date questions feel like discoveries, not interrogations.

๐Ÿข

New job or new team

Work + Funny + Classic, capped at 10 questions, completely clean. Run it as a 10-minute meeting opener in the first two weeks.

โœˆ๏ธ

Pre-trip group chat

Share the pack link before the trip so everyone plays on the plane or in the car. You arrive already knowing things about each other.

๐ŸŒ™

Sleepover

Funny + Embarrassing for early evening, Deep + Childhood for late night. See the Sleepover Question Pack for a pre-built version.

๐ŸŽ“

Graduation or farewell

Build a pack of questions specifically about the person leaving - their past year, their plans, their memories. More personal than a card.
