Can my friends join without an account?

Yes, and this is intentional. We never want a signup wall to get in the way of your group having fun. Any player can join a multiplayer room as a guest - all they need is:

• The room code (6 characters, shared by the host)
• A display name to identify themselves in the room

That's it. No email, no password, no app download. They just visit have.you, click "Join Room," enter the code and a name, and they're in.

Guest players have full access to the in-game experience - they can see questions, submit "Have / Never" responses, and see everyone else's answers. The only things they can't do from a guest session are:

• Host a room (hosting requires a free account)
• Save favorites or build custom packs
• See game history after the session ends

For large groups where you know most people won't create an account, this guest join flow is the intended and recommended way to get everyone in quickly.
